These terms and conditions apply to the use of the (hereinafter referred to as “Carrefour Buybye”). The services available in the are offered by S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V, with registered office at Zaventem - Belgium, company number 0448.826.918(hereinafter referred to as “S.A Carrefour Belgium N.V” or “we”).
Use of the Carrefour Buybye implies that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the respective Privacy Policy.
1. SERVICES OFFERED IN THE CARREFOUR BUYBYE STORE
Access to the Carrefour Buybye store is limited to customers who register in the Carrefour Buybye App. When registering, you must enter your mobile number to receive the validation code by SMS.
The Carrefour Buybye store is an unattended store. When you approach the store you must enter a code to unlock the door or scan a QR code and then you can pick up whatever you want. At the end of the shopping session you will receive a receipt on Carrefour Buybye.
This store does not accept cash payments. Payments may only be made using a valid card or mobile payment methods. You may only leave the store with your products after payment has been made.
You may only return items purchased at the Carrefour BuyBye store to the physical store linked to the Carrefour Buybye itself. Returns cannot be made to other stores.
The experiment and the Carrefour Buybye may be adjusted from time to time. For help, to make suggestions or to clarify any doubts related with the app or our store, please contact our Customer Support Service in the “Customer Support” section of the app.
S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V reserves the right to limit or restrict access to the store by customers who do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. CARREFOUR BUYBYE
You may not distribute and/or share the Carrefour Buybye App with any third party or link the app to a network that allows other devices to use it. You may not disassemble, decompile or reverse engineer the Carrefour Buybye App.
We may discontinue services on the Carrefour Buybye App at any time, at your behest. More information on purchases, refunds and how the store works is available under Frequently Asked Questions and in the Help section of the app.
3. CARREFOUR BUYBYE MICROSTORE
To help you access products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we use computer vision and sensors to ascertain whether the items are taken from Carrefour Buybye Machine.
By using Carrefour Buybye Machine you are authorizing payment of the products taken from the shelves between the time the door opens and closes (session) using the standard payment method associated with your Carrefour Buybye App account. The standard payment method must be a credit card with a balance of, at least, EUR 50.
During the session you may return the products you took and do not wish to purchase in Carrefour Buybye Machine, provided they are not damaged and have not been tampered with. All returned products must be placed in the same position you found them. S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V shall charge you for any returned items that are damaged or have been tampered with. For food safety reasons, you may not return products once the door has closed.
You are responsible for ensuring that the door is properly closed or for reporting any system malfunction.
If, for any reason, you choose a product from Carrefour Buybye Machine that is damaged or unfit for consumption, please keep the item and report the situation via the app. We will credit any amount that may have been charged as a result thereof. If you do not pay for items taken from Carrefour Buybye Machine, S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V shall suspend your account until the situation has been resolved.
4. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION
By using the Carrefour Buybye App you will receive notifications about promotions, products and services via the app. We will not send you unnecessary information. With your consent, you may also receive information about services, products and campaigns tailored to your consumer profile.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights related to the Carrefour Buybye App, including those related to software, texts, images and sounds, and other related content, belong to S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V and/or the organizations from which we hold a license. Said content is legally protected under the laws on industrial property and on copyright and related laws. This means, inter alia, that you may not share, reproduce and/or edit any content in the Carrefour Buybye App without our permission. The App and its content are for personal use only.
7. LIABILITY
S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect and/or incidental damages resulting from the use or misuse of the Carrefour Buybye App, nor does it control or will be liable for any unlawful conduct by its users. In any event, S.A. Carrefour Belgium N.V shall implement the latest technologies to ensure secure use of the Carrefour Buybye App.
8. AMENDMENTS AND OTHER APPLICABLE CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy at any time. Any terms and conditions amended in the app shall be published and enter into force on the date of publication thereof in the app.
